Hey,
in Vs2008 I'm using R# 5.1 to refactor my 'solutions'.
But the Teamcity plugin for pretested-commit doesn't detect that. It sees the original file as 'missing' cause it's just deleted, and the moved file as added (loosing) the SVN-history.
I've used both Ankh & VisualSVN as SVN clients. And I have the same issue there.
--> Ankh detects that the orig file should be deleted (but the deleted file is NOT taken up in Team city's commit (if the build runs green)
So I have to do a 'cleanup' commit with Ankh to get rid of the original files.
--> VisualSVN keeps the original file as missing.
--> I'm not sure how the teamcity plugin plays with these other clients ? Is there a recommended setup that handles this scenario correctly ?
So I'm not sure I have to post this issue in the teamcity area or rather to R#. This issue is preventing me to let my team fully use teamcity (as my main argument is the pretested commit feature...).
I find it strange that I haven't found anything on this subject yet via google. Cause for me it's a common scenario. (perhaps I used the wrong keywords...)
thx,
Olivier
