We have 170+ projects in a mixed solution consisting of: C++ (MFC, COM & IDL), MC++ and C# projects; and we cannot build if Resharper is running. (We are currently using 6.0.2202.688).
We get error messages like the following:
error LNK1201: error writing to program database 'D:\test\Debug\Test.pdb'; check for insufficient disk space, invalid path, or insufficient privilege.
If we suspend (or remove) Resharper we NEVER get these messages; therefore, we believe strongly that Resharper is holding the pdb file open for some reason.
