If I choose to use Microsoft VS2010's built in intellisense over the Resharper version, my performance degrades significantly. The resharper intellisense is clunky in my opinion and whether or not that much is true is not the issue at this time.
Steps to reproduce
1. turn off resharper intellisense to use the inbuilt one
2. use a high resolution screen and open a c# file with lots of code (i'm using a 24" 1920x1200 in portrait)
3. try to edit lines in the middle (performance is painful)
4. switch to the resharper version and it is a lot better
