I have an XP which uses VS 2008 and R# 4.0. I am using a dark background in the text editor. I exported the settings.
I have a Windows 2003 running remote desktop on another Windows 2003 which runs VS 2008 and R# 4.0. I imported the settings on that machine. The highlight current line works fine on the XP machine but not on the Windows 2003 machine. It's always the same background color. I toggled the highlight current line feature on/off. I changed the foreground and background colors for 'Resharper current line' settings to different light colors and I see no effect.
I reset all the settings in VS and the highlight color works.
Why doesn't it work with my own settings?
What I will try now is to try to start from scratch and customize one by one.
