Recently I am having a problem with lines making unexpected "jerks". For example when changing program or clicking with the mouse.
For example:
0. I am editing in Visual Studio 2008 in a c# file.
1. Changing program to Firefox.
2. Changing back to Visual Studio
3. Clicking on a matching bracket
4. Waiting about 4 seconds
5. Now: The line makes a sudden jerk or jump.
I made a video and captured a screenshot when the line starts jumping.
It is a problem because it happens very often and randomly, not only when changing program. It happens when simply editing text, clicking with the mouse. It is annoying, and sometimes I click on the wrong line.
The problem only occurs when "Highlight current line" is active.
I understand if the problem is hard to reproduce or fix, but I wanted to make a note of it. Thanks for your attention!
