Hi,
The XAML editor and the solution-wide error analysis both report a false positive on a XAML attached property being set more than once when the property is defined against an abstract generic type.
This might seem convoluted but this technique is very useful when writing controllers that act as mediators to third-party components that don't have a viewmodel in an MVVM context.
