I think there should be some sort of a threshold when it comes to how many warnings can be in a file.
(1) Maybe the warnings should only show up for whatever I am looking on the screen?
(2) Or maybe the number of tick marks should be limited to some number?

I am noticing that files that have a lot of tick marks are almost impossible to edit (seeing lag times between keystrokes of about 5-10 seconds which is unacceptable)
