It appears to me that Resharper is doing some kind of network call and that process is causing visual studio to freeze until whatever Resharper is doing completes. This is made worse when I am on my companies slow VPN connection. This freeze happened mutliple times while typing up this report.
The performace timeline and sampling returned an error when trying to attach to this report. "Faild to attach using self profiling API.
Resharper is completly unusable like this and I keep it disabled.
