It would be great if a TreeView pane could be provided while editing MSBuild files. If functionality could be provided similar to the TreeView navigation panes provided for HTML files in VIsual Studio that allow you to easily navigate the various elements in the document, this would allow developers to easily jump to and from various areas in their MSBuild project files.
A good example of build editors which already accomplish this for build scripts are NAntBuilder and MSBuild Sidekick.
