Hi,

I was adding Category attributes in the same TestFixture Nunit test, eg:
[TestFixture("myVal", Category="catA,catB")]

And Team City properly recognizes both categories so the test appears under "catA" and "catB".

Resharper however, when it creates the Unit Test Session and groups the tests by category displays the test just once and under the category of "catA,catB", rather than under two different categories.

I'm using:

  • Visual Studio 2017 (v 15.7.5)
  • Resharper Ultimate 2017.2.2

In an automatically open document in VS, two icons are displayed even if "Do not show Visual Studio bulb" is enabled.
The problem disappears after the tab is reopened.

Well it could be a bit annoying but i am already annoyed about this issue. There is another task for this (RSRP-471495) however over 2 months already and no response for this.
It is super super annoying. So get and fix it already. Or at least give us some info!!!!

while trying to get this to work, there have been folder nodes that showed as not having a Namespace Provider property at all. I had to make new folders, move the contents over, delete the old folder, and rename the new folder, to get a Namespace Provider property to appear.

I was able to reproduce the problem only once using R# 2018.3 EAP 4 D built on 2018-10-21 and I couldn't catch the pattern.
VS restart helps to solve the problem.

to recreate:

  • add number of valid entries to hosts file (about 50k+)
  • reboot computer and log in.
  • You should see DNS Client busy in task manager for about minute from the log on.
  • In the DNS Client bussy time open Visual Studio.
    The visual studio will open unresponsive, and after everything is sorted out, it should report resharper as culprit.

While working on .NET Core project, when you define a Custom Area path Rider will not load those settings. It causes to show warnings and not working properly with view creation. It only checks for existence of View file in root\Views\ folder.
Consider configuring in Startup.cs:
